The next ballet exam session will be in July, just after the end of term. Exam letters have been emailed to parents. Please ensure your children attend all their weekly classes and coaching classes, missing is detrimental, not only to them, but also to their exam group. It is very helpful for parents to attend in order to help with practice at home.

The exam timetable will be displayed at the Studio when we have confirmed dates and times.

Congratulations to Lizzie Raw who successfully auditioned for a place at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham and has just attended a residential there, she has also been offered places on the Royal Ballet Mid Associate scheme and with National  Youth Ballet ; Natalia Kerby has been at a Royal Ballet School Spring intensive residential at White Lodge;  Evelyn Hodgkinson & Lizzie have been recalled for the final audition for Northern Ballet Associates in Leeds, where Ellen Blackburn is a member.

We are planning a group trip to see ‘Ballet Nights’ at the Hippodrome on Saturday 3rd October 2026, 7.30 pm – please visit www.balletnights.com for details. It is a fantastic opportunity to see world class dancers and is suitable for age 8+. Under 14s to be accompanied by an adult. There is a sign-up sheet at the studio.

Photographer Katie Mitford is coming to take photos on Saturday November 8th. Miss Tiffany will advise on ballet poses and there will be tutus and costumes to wear.

We were delighted with the amount of money raised with the sale of raffle tickets, show programmes and headshots,   £1300 which was donated to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK.

Our Silver Swans were selected to perform at RAD headquarters in London as part of a celebration of Silver Swans.
